The adult burn survivors developed their own support network and named it the PBF Connection, because
their experiences together have connected them to "emotional and physical healing, love they had forgotten,
love they learned to feel, and hope beyond their injuries."
The burn survivors gather for an annual retreat in November and also have a retreat the first night of Brave Hearts’
Camp, this year held on August 3, 2008 at Happy Hollow Children’s Camp in Nashville, Indiana.
