Arni’s Restaurant Golf Outing
The Foundation benefited from the annual Arni’s Restaurant Golf Outing on Thursday, September 24, at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, IN. This annual fundraiser to benefit charities served as the first year Arni’s designated the Foundation as one of its three beneficiaries. The other two were the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Arnold I. Cohen Memorial Faculty Endowment Award at Purdue University.
The event sold out and was hosted at one of Indiana’s finest golf venues. Despite rain throughout the day, 37 foursomes and 148 golfers enjoyed a great time of fellowship and support for three wonderful causes. Gene Fox of FOX 59 served as master of ceremonies for festivities after golf that included dinner, silent auction, putting contest, dancing and music with "Dave and Rae."
The Foundation thanks Kurt and Brad Cohen, co-owners of Arni's Restaurant; Shelly Hendricks, Arni's Director of Marketing & Public Relations, who served as Event Coordinator; all Arni's employees and volunteers; corporate and individual donors; and the staff at Prairie View Golf Club for making this event possible.
