To Hell and Back
To Hell and Back is a world-class documentary nominee and the recipient of several national awards. The documentary is a stark portrayal of severe burn injuries and the life-long impact the experience has on people. Using To Hell and Back, the People's Burn Foundation summoned a national team of experts from the fire service to develop a two-part educational program. The two parts include: (1) Firefighting
Training and (2) EMS.
The project was launched on April 26, 2005 when a copy of To Hell and
Back was mailed to every fire department in the United States. If
your department did not receive a copy, please
email
the Foundation.
On April 25, 2007, the PBF distributed To Hell and Back II:
Situational Awareness and To Hell and Back: Community Awareness
for adults, high school students and JFS. Every fire department in
the United States listed on the National Public Safety Database received
a copy.
